Run for a state or government office. For the purposes of this project, this will include positions which are not always filled strictly by "running" for the office, such as when "applying" for the position of senate page, or studying to be ready for an "appointment" (as with certain types of board members); as well as "running" for positions such as, assemblywoman, house representative, etc.
