If you are a homeschooled or Christian School student and are doing these same books in school, you may count them as completed for your Joy Club project if you have read the book in the same year as you are counting it done for the project. For instance, if you are in 8th grade and are reading the 8th grade ABEKA history textbook in school, you may count it as a completed Joy Club project when you have finished the book in school. If you are for instance in 9th grade and read the 5th grade ABEKA Book years ago, you will need to read it over again to be able to take credit for it as a Joy Club project.

Note:

If you want to read the truth, you will want to avoid the new, modern, abridged versions of any of the old books, such as Democracy in America. Revisionist history abounds in modern versions of books such as these, and all mention of America as a Christian nation is systematically and routinely being rewritten and cut out. Read what David Barton has to say about a new version of Democracy in America: quote
