This project is about PREPARING to serve your local school, library, town, city, or your state, or country.
If you feel called to the realm of government and feel that you can best serve God and your country in this way, and that your service will not leave behind a neglected husband, children, home, or other work, there are many offices and positions from which to choose, at the town, city, state, and national levels, as well as literally hundreds of board on which to serve in every state.
Prayerfully seek God's direction and aidm as well as the advice and help of like-minded friends.
Then be PRUDENT! Prepare for your campaign with training just as you would for any new job...
OPtimum would be training including a college-level education with a Christian world-view, such as that available at Patrick Henry College in Purcelleville, Viginia, and if that is possible for you, go for it!
Otherwise, start out by completing this project:

Also, investigate the requirements for the office you are seeking.
If possible, study a book on how to run for office.

(If after all of this, you still feel sure about running, you will want to complete the Justice Project, J308, "Local Office".)
